  • Human Services Coalition 2009 Foundation Directory – “a list of funding sources that have been known to award grants within the Tompkins County area.”
  • Sustainable Tompkins Neighborhood Mini-Grant Program – “supports initiatives of Tompkins County residents and small organizations with ‘seed money’ to make their neighborhoods more sustainable. Applications are reviewed quarterly by the Mini-Grant Council, comprised of local citizens and members of Sustainable Tompkins board and staff. Awards range from $150 to $750.”
  • Park Foundation – “primarily supports scholarships in higher education, quality media that heightens public awareness of critical issues, and protection of the environment.”
  • Community Foundation of Tompkins County – “one member of a larger family of grantmaking organizations in Tompkins County. Our long-term endowment and other charitable resources are used for the ongoing benefit of the whole community. The Foundation spreads its resources across the whole county to address emerging concerns and unresolved problems. “
  • Ithaca Hours Loans and Grants – “Individuals or businesses who are members of Ithaca HOURS are eligible to apply for business loans. These loans are made in HOURS with an amazing rate of 0% interest. Are you a board member, staff member or volunteer at a local organization serving the needs of our community? If so, consider applying for a grant from Ithaca HOURS.”
  • Social Service League of Ithaca – “support Tompkins County not-for-profit, human service organizations in their work to address the most significant community needs. In 2009, the Social Service League of Ithaca Foundation received 29 applications requesting a total of $94,798 of support.”
  • United Way of Tompkins County – “has identified Youth Engagement and Hunger & Food Security as targeted program areas to build and connect communities. By connecting contributors, consumers and a network of quality service providers, United Way is our community’s most efficient, cost-effective and comprehensive means for ensuring that important and needed health and human services are available for Tompkins County residents.
  • Legacy Foundation of Tompkins County – “supports programs and projects in the areas of health, education, recreation, human and social services, aging, and the arts in Tompkins County.”
