Yes, the Web team’s goal is to have profiles where we can list haves and wants and have the system make matches. All of this may happen on this site or on a separate site called havewant.org.

UPDATE – 11.30.09:
Since there are already so many great sharing and bartering networks in Ithaca, we’re now sending folks to them instead of creating our own have/want system.
Future site plans include making our Resources page more useful, and providing tools to folks so they can easily organize their own community swap meets and really really free markets.

that sticks on (inbox), and more. Can I drop this stuff off somewhere for your group?
Hi Dianne, thanks for your offer! You could bring the stuff to the Holiday swap on Dec. 12th, that would be great.
If you can’t make it, you could leave a box outside your house with “FREE” on it in big letters, and then tell people in Ithaca Freecyle (and the Share Tompkins email list if you want) how long the box will be there. This is a really good way to get rid of stuff quickly – people will come by and pick it up.
